Vegetable onion gravy

This is my first attempt at gravy; I made it because I wanted gravy with my fries but I didn't have any.

For this gravy you need:
1/2 of a white onion, diced
2 vegetable (or any other kind) bouillons
1/4 cup of butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups of water
1/4 cup of flour

Mix all ingredients together in a pot and bring to a boil.
I don't like raw onion so I sautéed the onion first in some of the butter.

My gravy also came out kind of thick so you might not need so much flour.

It was also a little salty (but I like salt) so make sure you taste before serving.
