Egg noodle and veggie dish
This is a quick dish you can make a lot of in a short period of time and can fill you up. You can also add meat to it if you'd like.
This recipe feeds 3 people.
You'll need:
1/2 large white onion
1/2 each of a red, green and yellow bell pepper
3 chunks from an egg noodle package
1/4 cup of soya sauce
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1-2 teaspoons of garlic salt
1-2 teaspoons of Thai seasoning
4 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons of margarine, butter, or cooking oil
Put some water in a pot and bring to a boil. Add the noodles and cook until al dente.
While the noodles cook, chop up the peppers into bite size pieces and the onion and garlic into small pieces.
Put the butter in a large, deep frying pan and melt. Add the vegetables and cook until they begin to soften.
Add the spices, the soy sauce, and the brown sugar into the pan and stir, making sure to mix everything well.
Once the noodles have finished cooking, strain them and add them to the pan of veggies, cooking on low until everything is mixed together.
