Amazing Deep Fried Shrimp
These shrimp that I made were actually left over from a pasta and then I deep fried them, but I will go over what I did anyways, and even let you know how I made the pasta in the next post.
This recipe is for a single serving, or around 8 very small shrimp.
You will need:
In a deep bowl, mix together the flour, bread crumbs, and salt.
Without patting down the shrimp, add them to the flour mixture and toss until coated entirely.
Pour some olive oil into a frying pan - enough to cover and then add a bit more, and heat to medium-low. Test your oil by tossing in some of the flour mixture. If it begins to sizzle, it's ready.
Fry the shrimp until golden brown, flip, and repeat.
Remove the shrimp from the frying pan and place on a paper towel. Pat dry.
If you would like dip, mix a teaspoon of mayo with half a teaspoon of teriyaki sauce.
